Ear- Microphones:
These small comfortable earphone unit are inexpensive and of good quality. They have a tiny electret microphone at the end of a 100 mm boom piece. They have a 1 m shielded cable terminated in a 2.5mm stereo phone jack. The earphone has good volume and sound quality and there is an retaining clip that curls behind the pinna of the ear to assist in holding the unit in the correct position.
The sensitive microphone reaches to the corner of the mouth, proving a good sound level from average speech level and being far enough removed so as not to be a nuisance. These units will plug straight into the "Startac","v2088" and other Motorola cell phones, to enable safe hands free operation when in auto-answer mode.
